Jeddah, October 27: Al Manhal signed an ePublishing agreement with Arab Federation for Libraries & Information (AFLI). The agreement was signed by Dr. Hassan Awad Al Sarih Federation President, and Mr. Mohammed Al Shafi Al Manhal Content Development Manager, in the presence of Dr. Emad Issa.

On the sidelines of this agreement, Al Manhal gained copyrights to edit and categorize eBooks and eJournals to distribute them to universities and research centers through yearly subscriptions, using the best-in-class technologies.

Both sides stressed on the importance of such an agreement in enriching Arabic electronic content, and in building a specialized Arabic database which assists and eases research processes by providing advanced research tools. On his part, Dr. Hassan Al Sarihi added that this agreement adds to Arabic electronic content in the face of global rapid flow of information in the age of modern technology and sophisticated information systems and management, where university libraries and scientific centers databases form accessible information for the fields of research and the most beneficial for research and easy user-interaction.
