Amman, January 16: An ePublishing agreement was signed between Al Manhal & The Arab Thought Forum on the morning of Thursday, 9th, January 2014 for the electronic publishing & distribution of the Forum’s intellectual content. The agreement was signed by Dr. Al Sadeq Al Faqih; Secretary General of ATF, and Mr. Mohamad Al Baghdadi, Al Manhal’s CEO. By the agreement, Al Manhal will electronically publish & distribute the forum’s content and studies to make them available to all Al Manhal subscribers across the globe, including educational, research and scientific institutions and centers, including universities, leading to marketing of this content in specialized exhibitions.
This agreement comes in the context of the forum’s mission, whose President is his Majesty Prince Al Hassan bin Talal, to contribute in enriching scientific and intellectual Arabic electronic content, delivering the Arab thought & output to the world, and expanding the level of communication between academic and research-related circles in order to familiarize them with Arabic and contemporary Islamic thought. Also, contributing to establish, develop, publish, and signify these thoughts in order to create interest. The 150 publications of this forum, some of which are books and studies, are distributed among global Arabic discussions, Arabic discussions, global translations, studies about the Arab world, strategic studies and research, while also a series of publications directed to young and unspecialized readers. The forum also issues a quarterly intellectual and educational journal.
The forum’s activities include conferences, debates, as well as dialogue & discussion seminars on a regional & international level. The forum also has collaboration agreements for the cooperation & exchange with intellectual and scientific institutions, universities, and research facilities. It consists of around 300 members of highly cultured and educated characters from the Arab community, in addition to the membership of supporting institutions.

The agreement was signed in the presence of the Arab Forum’s Deputy Secretary General, Ms. Rana Arafat, Secretary General and Editor in Chief of the forum’s journal, Mr. Kayed Hashim, General Manager of Al Manhal in Jordan, Mr. Basheer Al Nasser, and the Information Technology and Communication Manager at the forum, Mr. Yaser Al Daghistani.
