Riyadh, March 15th: On the sidelines of the Riyadh International Book Fair, Al Manhal recently signed a publishing agreement with Al Turath Center with both its Amman and Riyadh branches. The agreement was signed by Mr. Mohammed Al Shafi, Al Manhal Content Development Manager; and Mr. Osama Nimer, Vice President of Riyadh branch; in the presence of Mr. Bilal Nimer, Manager of informational technology; as well as Mr. Mohamed Al Baghdadi, Al Manhal CEO; along with Mr. Mohamed Abbas Nimer, CEO of Turath Center; in the presence of Mr. Adnan Al Baghdadi, and Mr. Basheer Al Nasser.
According to the agreement, Al Manhal obtained publications and releases on scientific, traditional, historical and cultures issues by the Center, which includes more than 2600 titles, located in more than 30,000 volumes, to make available for consumers via the latest technology and research database of full text searchable.
Both sides discussed the importance of this agreement in enriching the Arabic digital content and building an Arabic database specialized in the heritage of Arab and Islamic history and culture which reaches universities and scientific and research centers with high quality content using the latest technologies that facilitate and help users and researchers.
