Amman, August 15th: In order to enhance the research experience, we are pleased to announce the launch of the new Landing Page of Al Manhal's Intelligent Information Platform where university students, faculty members, research centers and scientific societies have easy access to an extensive collection of eBooks, eJournals and eReports from the Arab world’s leading publishers; using the best-in-class technological features.
New features were added to the platform in order to ease the research process for our esteemed customers. Al Manhal created a new Landing Page with an added ‘browsability’ feature; which complements the existing ‘searchablity’ element of the platform.
The ‘searchability’ feature allows users to search through publications for certain terms to ease the research discoverability process. While the newly added ‘brows ability’ feature allows researchers to view entire collections at a glance through either choosing subject title or publisher name; the entire publications list will be presented to browse through. The newly added features also allow easy navigation, where knowledge of vocabulary is not necessary, since users now have the option to browse all available publications within the selected category without having to go through the search engine.
Al Manhal is the only full-text searchable platform for Arabic electronic publications, where publishers can display their print publications electronically using the best-in-class intelligent platform, and where library users, research centers and scientific societies can access their content, regionally and globally using one of the most advanced research platforms.
